RAE Gear Leatherman Wave Sheath
Even though the Leatherman Wave is smaller than the Surge, but it still has some weight to it and carrying in via your pocket, belt carry via a sheath or pouch are options they can still be bulky or have a belt loop making it hard to detach the sheath.
I have been sent a sheath that meets and exceeds my exceptions for Slim line and a very small footprint...
SKYE Footwear Rbutus Review
The Rbutus is great for the runner that sometimes has to walk, too. The urban-outdoors are calling. Great for hikes, bikes, and getting likes. Pairs well with anything showing a little ankle; good shorts, wild tights, good denim, and even rolled up slacks.
Bulluck&Malinen Custom Leather She
My personal review of Bulluck & Malinen Custom Leather Sheath for the Leatherman Wave.
A-Slim London - Chikara Wallet
Ok so I seem to be doing a load of Wallet reviews over the last 12 months or so and I must say its been pretty cool looking at all the different types, well I received another new wallet at the end of last year and been using it every day and I have come to love using the A-Slim Chickara Wallet, the abiltiy to use my Transperth Smartrider card via the outside pocket it awesome, and that my other cards are protected via RFID is a cherry on the top.
UAG Magma Scout case for SP4
I recently had to take in my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 in to Harvey Norman as there was a power issue and the USB port stopped working. Well after 10 days or so was advised that there was an issue and that I could swap it out.
I decided to upgrade to the Surface Pro 4 i5 128GB, and in doing so needed a new case. So I contacted the guys at Urban Armour Gear and had a chat with them about their Scout case for the SP4, I decided to go with the Magma colour.
Now I am not new to UAG's Scout case as I
Strike Universal Alpha Cradle
I have been looking for a Car Cradle to replace my old Samsung one, and I think I have finally found one in the Strike Universal Alpha Cradle for All Smart Phones.
I complete a review of the Strike Alpha cradle for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with an OtterBox Defender Case.
The RIT (Rapid Intervention Tool)
You can find a lot of single piece multi-tools on the Internet and lot of them can be found on Instagram or Kickstarter, I recently reviewed the Titanium Crocobiner and loved the concept of a simple tool that has so many options and uses, however it’s trying to find one that has the right amount of tools, that is easy to carry and feels good in the hand when using it.
I had seen a single piece multi-tool on Instagram for some time and it was on a mates Instagram feed Scott @candle_power.....
STM Grace Deluxe Sleeve 13" & Clutch
I currently own a few STB Bags, namely my large 15" Laptop bag and Linear 13" Laptop shoulder bag which I reviewed here I have found that STM Bags are rugged enough for Everyday use and have loads of room for taking those extra items and comfortable to carry to the wildest of locations.
I was recently asked if I would like to have a look at STM's latest range of Sleeves aimed at the Lady in your Family, and that would be my Wife Lisa,
So if you have been following me on Instagram - @theedczone then you would have seen my keychain items from my Ultimate keychain to my KeySmart to the Orbitkey. I liked how compact the KeySmart system is and how light it is.
However after speaking to Isaac @bigkahunastickershop_305 on Instagram he talked to me about the KeyBar, now if you have followed any of the EDC instagram accounts like @EDC_Showcase or @everydaydump and @_everydaycarry_ then you might have seen the popular KeyBar....
The Crocodile is an animal synonymises with Australia so when I was shown the Crocobiner Multi-Tool in the shape of one I had to say yes to a review so I could get my hands on one. The Crocobiner is the concept and innovation of Tsvet, he has now started his own Kickstarter page to fund to get the Crocobiner into production.
At the time of this writing he has 14 days to go before his program is completed, and he has already hit his target so.
Bellroy Note Sleeve Wallet
My Wallet is considered to be a "Dad's Wallet" very much a bulky leather wallet, that has a load of cards, some I haven’t used in 6 months, I've seen a number of Slim style or Tactical wallets on the internet and thought they might be go to try.
I came across Bellroy’s wallets on Instagram and checked out their website and saw that they had a number of wallets I liked the look of the Slim Wallets and they had a wide selection. Bellroy sent me a Review unit a Black Note Sleeve.
Liquid Co Essentialist Wallet
I have been using a leather wallet that I got from my wife quite a few years back for my birthday, I was asked by a fellow EDCer why was I still carrying around a "Dad" wallet and not one of minimalistic wallets?
I had been looking on the web and came across the “Essentialist Wallet” by Liquid Co. It was a different style than I was used to and was excitied to see how it would work in my every day use.
Orbitkey Key Organiser
I was checking out Instagram and the web and found a Australian based company selling a Key Organiser called the Orbitkey, I liked the look of the unit and was able to contact the team and see what they had to offer, well I received a GREY ELASTOMER I also received an 8GB Thumb drive and bottle opener.
STM Dux Case for Surface Pro 3
Years ago I used to work at the Vodafone Service Centre here in Perth and the one thing that all of our customers wished they had used for their mobile device was a case, this was always after they had dropped their device, I was lucky enough to receive a STM Dux Case, with my other review unit the STM 13" Linear Laptop Shoulder Bag .
STM Linear 13" Laptop Shoulder Bag
When I worked as a Channel Rep for a Telco Company I used my STM Laptop Bag, it was awesome as I was able to store a load of stuff like my work laptop, Tablet, display dummy phones, tool kits, backup Multi-tools, security stands, brochures and training material. Now that I am an at home dad looking after my kids and tidying up the house I find I’m not using the STM Laptop bag at all as it is very large. As you can see in the photo below the 15" Laptop bag is almost twice the size of the 13" Line
CleanStylus for Surface Pro 3
Almost a month plus ago I bought myself a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (SP3), now the first thing I noticed is that there was no real place to store the Stylus that comes with the Surface Pro 3. If you were like me and bought the Type Cover then it comes with a small loop attachment that can stick to the Type Cover or the SP3 itself. For some this is just not an option with the can't afford the Type Cover or they just find it a silly option, most will look at getting a Neropean sleeve .....
UAG Scout Case for Surface Pro 3
Just over 3 weeks ago my Wife and I's main laptop decided not to charge any more so we went looking for a replacement, I was wanting to look at the Surface Pro 3 as I liked the size and the versitelity of the Laptop to Tablet options, so in the ending got one for me and a Toshiba laptop for my wife.
So now I have this awesome device but a bit worried it might get scratched or damaged if I take it out and about, what could I do? I hit the internet looking for a slim rugged case and came across t

OtterBox Defender for iPhone 6
I have always been a fan of OtterBox products, and have had them on most of my Smartphone’s for protection, specifically the Symmetry and Commuter line of products. The Defender for the iPhone 6, however, was my first experience with the Defender line.
OtterBox Defender for Lumia 930
I have used OtterBox case for well over 10 years and love the rugged feel and use of them, I now have a Nokia Lumia 930 which is the same as the Icon that is sold in the USA, my Defender case arrived from OtterBox over a week ago and have been testing it in some everyday type activities.
TEC-A3 Glow Fob
First impressions of the glow fob from TEC start with the packaging. The plastic case that the fob arrives in is an immensely well thought out and well presented case. Included is the fob itself, a small gate clip and split ring. The fob itself (in this case, the aluminium version) is about 4cm long, and around 5mm wide. The machining on the fob shows little to no markings besides some vertical lines that add nicely to the colouration (in my case, the charcoal).
Recently I saw online a pretty interesting clip system for a Smartphone called the Velocity Clip I was able to find a local Distributer Maxxum and was sent some stock to have a look at and review for the site.
So what is the Velocity Clip? Well it is a POV action camera clip that you can use with a number of devices from your Smartphone, Digital Camera, GoPro, even a Navman or GPS Unit.
Legends Extra Light Cotton Duck Weav
I recently bought myself some really cheap cargo pants and found them to be very lacking, so while looking for some new work pants I found some great looking cargo shorts by hard Yakka - Legends Extra Light Cotton Duck Weave Short's. I got the Khaki coloured pants as my wife wanted me to get a different colour other than Black.
Nokia Lumia 630
I have been an Android user for the past 3 years and never thought that I would ever covert to a Windows Phone (again) and it being a Nokia, well that is what I have recently done.
Now to set the record straight I'm not new to the Windows experience and had my first Windows Mobile device the PPC-6600 (Harrier) which was running WM2003, I also had a Dell AximX51v which was an awesome PDA.
Let me introduce the Skinth Plus, it is a bit larger than the OG I also have which is good thing if you are carrying the Surge like me, the OG did fit the Surge and there is one thing it does better than the Plus which I will explain later on. I just love the simple yet elegant black look and for me it matches well with my black uniform.
OtterBox Commuter - Note 2
Ok so you now have your Note 2 and you are on the go and out and about your might be a project manager visiting sites and staff, it could be dusty or be a possible area that you might drop and damage that new Smartphone.
OtterBox Defender - Note 2
Since I have had my Note 2 the main concern that I have had is the potential of dropping it or getting a few knocks as I use it a lot to enter data for work, calls, ChatON, and SMS, so I am taking it out of my pocket and in doing so heighten the possibility of that Oops drop.
